Normally I wouldn't recommend buying directly from a manufacturer's Web site unless that was the only way to buy a product. However, it looks like "Cyber Monday" may be an exception to that rule--at least in the case of SanDisk, which is offering some significant discounts on its flash memory. ... (link)

San Disk is deeply slashing prices on their Ultra II SDHC cards for Cyber Monday. In an effort to boost online sales from their direct site, the 1st tier memory card maker is cutting the prices of their high capacity Secure Digital memory cards by up to 50% or more. What a deal. Some of the cards being slashed include an 8GB Ultra II SDHC card for about $21.00 (regular list price is $50).
